If you, like me, are always in search of quirky and affordable Prague-themed gifts that are a bit more meaningful than a t-shirt but still portable and playful, you will really appreciate Nina Cosford's Prague: A Three-Dimensional Expanding City Guide (Walker Books 2013). Each cut-paper page includes a pop-out color illustration of a landmark site—Golden Lane, National Theatre, Dancing House—accompanied by small bites of historic information. And while it'll never take the place of your travel guide (or app) in terms of practicality, this purchase will certainly look fantastic back home on your bookshelf, encased as it is in a sturdy lavender box. I purchased my copy at Amadito & Friends, an international children's book store with a nice selection of Prague-related books and keepsakes.
