Have your hotel concierge find out if this wonderful circus happens to be in town during your visit. It’s a one-ring show that is bound to charm young and old alike, as it includes lots of acrobats, animals and clowns.

The highlight during my last visit was an act featuring bears riding motorcycles. Without even reserving tickets in advance, I was able to get front row seats for 350 CZK per ticket. Needless to say, the horses, elephants and camels were perhaps closer than some would like, but the four-year-old next to me and I were both definitely in our element! You’ll want to bring plenty of cash, as you’re certain to be cajoled by your child into buying them popcorn, cotton candy and very cool multi-color circus lights that play an annoyingly catchy tune. During intermission, you can take a ride on a camel in the ring, and, for a small fee, have a Polaroid picture taken as a keepsake.

note: It’s possible to order tickets online, and I would recommend having your concierge take care of this to ensure that you get the best possible seats.
